Mission

• The Mathematics department supports engineering students to formulate problems, obtain optimal solutions and validate the same.



Long Term Goals



• To establish centre-of-excellence for research in Graph Theory, Fluid dynamics



• To have more number of publications in the emerging areas of Research in the relevant topics



• Faculty To earn doctorate degrees.




Short Term Goals



• To improve academic performance of students using innovative and creative methods of teaching.


• To conduct Learning activities for students of academically poor in studies .


• Faculty to engage in research activities.




Facilities & Infrastructure



• Department has very good infrastructure comprising of dedicated faculty.



Library

• Department of Mathematics has A few COLLECTION OF Text books, Reference Books of different authors, different titles and volumes.



Human Resource



• Department has 7 experienced staff with an average teaching experience of about 9 years. Some of the faculty members have registered for Ph. D.



Research Activities



• The faculties in the department are actively involved in Research and Development. The areas of research are Fluid Dynamics and Graph Theory.
