The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering established in the year 2010, believes in imparting holistic education where the student community is the focal point of the learning process. We offer a motivating environment for knowledge assimilation with a sense of social responsibility and human values. The prime attention is on Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Experiential Learning. The focus is on the activities to deliver outstanding theoretical knowledge base and in the development of skills to implement them. We constantly assess our set up for societal / industrial demand of skill sets for the students. We update and associate with technical skill training institutes to ensure that our students gain thinking skills, analytical frameworks, entrepreneurial skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
The growth of the department is also witnessed in producing a student achieving 8th rank at VTU during the roll out of second batch of students. The VTU has recognized the department as a research centre to carry on research and masters programs. The experienced and qualified faculty are involved in the research activities in the following areas:
